Frequently Asked Questions
When can I schedule a well visit for my child?
To help prevent the spread of illness, we schedule well child visits in the morning, while sick children are generally seen during the afternoon hours.
My child is sick. Can I schedule a same-day appointment? What information do you need?
If your child is sick, we will make every effort to see your child on the same day. To help prevent the spread of illness, sick children are generally seen during the afternoon hours.
When calling our office to schedule a sick visit, please be prepared to provide us with your child's current temperature and symptoms. If your child is experiencing a medical emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
Does a parent need to accompany my child during an office visit?
A child's parent or legal guardian must accompany the child to the initial office visit, to complete the necessary paperwork. For subsequent office visits, we may see the child if we have received written consent for treatment without the parent being present during the office visit.
My child is a new patient and is transferring from another pediatrician's office. Do you require any paperwork?
If your child is a new patient, and was previously under the care of another pediatrician, our office requires copies of your child's medical records from the other provider, prior to your scheduled visit.
What if I miss my appointment?
If you need to cancel your appointment, please contact our office at 330-482-7045, as soon as possible. We ask that you please provide at least 24-hours notice, if you are unable to keep your appointment.
